Managing Products
Create, edit, and organize your product catalog.
Tiny Shops offers two ways to manage products: the built-in database editor or Google Sheets sync. This page covers the database editor — the recommended approach.
Creating a product
Go to Products → Add Product to create a new product.
Basic information
- Product ID — auto-generated or custom. Must be URL-safe (letters, numbers, hyphens, underscores). Cannot be changed after creation.
- Title — the product name shown to customers
- Description — supports plain text. Shown on the product detail page.
Images
Upload product images or paste image URLs. The first image becomes the main display image.
- Click Upload Image to upload from your device
- Or paste an image URL directly
- Drag images to reorder them
Pricing
- Price — the regular price in your store currency
- Sale Price — optional discounted price. When set, customers see both the original and sale price with a discount badge.
- Currency — inherited from your store settings
Additional details
- Brand — assign to a brand for filtering
- Category — assign to a category for organization
- Subcategory — further classification within a category
- Stock quantity — inventory tracking. Products show "Out of stock" when quantity reaches zero.
- Tags — for internal organization
- Shipping Time — displayed on the product page (e.g., "2-3 business days")
Product variants
Add variants like sizes, colors, or materials. See Variants & Options for details.
Editing products
Click any product in the list to open the editor. All fields can be modified except the Product ID.
Deleting products
Click the delete icon on a product row. A confirmation dialog will appear. This action is permanent.
Searching and filtering
Use the search bar to find products by name, SKU, or description. Filter by:
- Category — show products from a specific category
- Status — active or draft (out of stock)
Live preview
The product editor includes a Live Preview panel that shows how your product will look on the storefront in real-time as you edit.
The live preview requires your storefront URL to be configured in Storefront Settings.
Product limits
Free plan stores can have up to 50 products. Upgrade to Pro for unlimited products. See Plans & Pricing.
