Stock Tracking
Manage inventory and handle out-of-stock products.
Tiny Shops tracks product inventory automatically and updates stock when orders are placed.
Setting stock
Set the stock quantity in the product editor under the Quantity field. This represents the number of units available for sale.
Automatic updates
When a customer places an order, stock is automatically decremented. No manual intervention needed.
If you use Google Sheets sync, stock changes are written back to the spreadsheet.
Out-of-stock handling
When stock reaches zero:
- The product shows an "Out of stock" badge on the storefront
- The product status changes to draft in the dashboard
- Customers cannot add the product to their cart
Restocking
To restock, simply update the quantity in the product editor. The product automatically becomes available again.
There's no low-stock alert feature yet. Check your inventory regularly from the Products page.
