Quickstart

Set up your Telegram store in 5 minutes.

This guide walks you through the essential steps to get your store live.

Prerequisites

A Telegram bot (create one via @BotFather)
Products to sell (you can add them later)

Step-by-step setup

Go to the Tiny Shops launcher and create your store. You'll need to provide your Telegram bot token.

You can get your bot token from @BotFather by sending /mybots, selecting your bot, and choosing API Token.

Configure your Mini App

In BotFather, set up your Telegram Mini App:

Open @BotFather
Send /mybots and select your bot
Go to Bot Settings → Menu Button → Configure Mini App
Paste your store URL (shown in the dashboard)

This enables customers to open your store directly from the bot.

Set up payments

Choose how customers will pay:

Customers fill out a form, you process orders manually. No payment provider needed.

Best for: Cash on delivery, bank transfers, or testing.

Accept credit cards, UPI, and more through Telegram's built-in payment system.

In BotFather: Bot Settings → Payments → choose a provider
Copy the payment token
Paste it in Dashboard → Storefront Settings → Orders & Payments

Accept Telegram's built-in currency. Zero configuration needed.

Go to Dashboard → Storefront Settings → Orders & Payments
Set your store currency to XTR (Telegram Stars)
That's it — no payment token required

Add your first product

Go to Dashboard → Products → Add Product and fill in the details:

Title and description
Price
At least one product image
Stock quantity

Save the product and it will appear in your storefront immediately.

Your store is now live! Share it with customers:

Direct link: Customers open your bot and tap the Mini App button
Share links: Send product links in chats and groups
Referral links: Enable the referral program (Pro) for viral growth
