Promo Codes
Create discount codes to boost sales and reward customers.
PRO Promo codes are a Pro feature.
Create promotional discount codes that customers can apply at checkout.
Creating a promo code
Go to Promo Codes → Create Promocode:
| Field | Description |

| Code | The code customers enter (e.g., SUMMER20) |
| Discount Type | Percentage or fixed amount |
| Discount Value | The discount (e.g., 20 for 20% or 500 for $5.00) |
| Max Uses | Maximum number of times the code can be used |
| Expiration Date | When the code expires |
Discount types
A percentage of the order total is discounted. For example, a 20% code on a $50 order gives $10 off.
A fixed amount is subtracted from the order total. For example, a $5 code gives $5 off regardless of order size.
Managing promo codes
- Activate/Deactivate — toggle codes on and off
- Delete — permanently remove a code
- Track usage — see how many times each code has been used and the revenue generated
Status indicators
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Active | Code is available for use |
| Inactive | Code is disabled |
| Expired | Past the expiration date |
Customer experience
Customers enter the promo code in the checkout form. If valid, the discount is applied and shown in the order summary.
If you've enabled mutual exclusivity between bonuses and promo codes (in checkout settings), customers can use one or the other, but not both.
